The RS8 sawmill blade sharpener was introduced in 2015. It was launched to meet the needs of our growing community of sawmill owners and maximise their investments. Designed to help customers get the most out of their blades, the RS8 quickly became an essential tool for optimising blade performance and extending blade life.

The RS8's feeder arm advances the blade automatically, while the cam-actuated grinding disc sharpens both the face and gullet of each tooth with precision. Once the entire blade is sharpened, the blade bracket automatically turns the machine off, for a seamless and effortless sharpening experience.

The RS8 can be adjusted for tooth rake angles of 7, 10 and 14 degrees. The gullet depth and take off can also be adjusted allowing 25 mm – 32 mm (1″ – 1.25″) wide blades with tooth spacing (pitch) of 19 mm – 25 mm (3/4″ – 1″). Adjustable outrigging arms can be configured in multiple locations, enabling it to accommodate various blade lengths, expanding your sharpening capabilities.
